Poco F2 teased: Is the real Poco F1 successor finally on the way?

Image
Poco India has teased the Poco F2’s arrival. This comes a few months after the firm said a Poco F1 successor was in the works. The Poco F1 is still one of the most beloved smartphones around, offering flagship power for ~$300 at launch. Unfortunately, the Xiaomi-affiliated brand hasn’t offered anything like that since then, either launching mid-range phones at this tier or flagship devices like the Poco F2 Pro that are significantly more expensive.  Poco confirmed back in October that it was working on a “true successor” to the Poco F1, and it’s now teased the so-called Poco F2 on Twitter. The company posted a video highlighting its achievements in 2020, but it also snuck in a reference to the Poco F2. Check out the screenshot below. Conventional wisdom says that a “true successor” to the Poc

We asked, you told us: It’s a two-horse race for the biggest fail of 2020

Credit: David Imel / Android Authority You don’t need to tell me you 2020 was an unprecedented year. The coronavirus pandemic touched almost every aspect of life, down to the industry we all love to follow. With everything that has happened over the last 12 months, we asked you to tell us what you thought were the biggest missteps the industry made. Here are the results. What were the biggest smartphone fails of 2020? Results A total of 1,267 votes were cast as of the writing of this article, and two clear losers emerged. First, there was the Note 20 , which captured 28.2% of the vote. The fact the Note 20 won the vote I think speaks to just how many people love the Note series. Any misstep by Samsung, no matter how minor, feels like a big deal. The fact the less expensive Galaxy S20 FE was a better phone in most respects likely made the sting worse for most people. With 28.2% of the vote, Microsoft and the Surface Duo came in close second pl
