Trump is one step closer to reign in office as House votes to formalize impeachment process against Trump, as it happened (video)

Congress voted to set rules for the public phase of the impeachment inquiry and formalize procedures.
NSC official Tim Morrison testified before congress, affirming that Trump sought a quid pro quo, while insisting that there was nothing illegal about it.

Both Democratic and Republican lawmakers said they were vindicated by his testimony.
A majority of Americans — 61% — say Trump violates democratic institutions and forms.

Representative Katie Hill condemned the “double standard” that had forced her to resign while men who have been accused of sexual misconduct (including Trump) remain in power.
